Contributions Towards a Jungian Ecopsychology

“People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own souls. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”

Carl Jung, Psychology and Alchemy

“There is only one way and that is your way. There is only one salvation and that is your salvation. Why are you looking for help? Do you believe help will come from outside? What is to come will be created in you and from you. Hence look into yourself. Do not compare, do not measure. No other way is like yours. All other ways deceive and tempt you. You must fulfill the way that is in you.”

Carl Jung, The Red Book

“Our world has become dehumanized. Man feels himself isolated in the cosmos, because he is no longer involved in nature.”

Carl Jung, The Symbolic Life

The Language of Nature is the guide used by the participants of the Beacon Hill Park Nature Walk hosted by the C.G. Jung Society of Victoria, with the first walk held on June 23, 2019 and most recently on June 21, 2020.  The guide continues to be a valuable resource for group walks or individual contemplation.
