If you are in the Victoria Area the evening of April 27, 2023, we would be delighted by your attendance at our Gorge-side Tea & Chat with Dr. Sue Johnson as we gather on the traditional territory of the L’kwungen-speaking People to listen to Sue in conversation with former CBC Radio host, Sheryl MacKay.
This event will serve as a fundraiser and the official launch party of Human-Nature Counselling Society (HNCS) as a registered Canadian Charity.
HNCS is a grassroots organization grounded by the synergy between Nature, Connection and Healing with a mission to enhance the mental health and well-being of children, youth, and families, through the delivery of effective, innovative and low barrier mental health counselling services and programs, through the approaches of Nature-Based Therapy. HNCS’ vision is that everyone living within the HNCS service area who strives for mental health and wellness has access to counselling services and programs they can afford, that foster their senses of belonging within family, community and the non-human natural world.
